There's always something that could stress out somebody on the holiday of course. The food might be taking longer than normal to cook, or it's taking longer for family to arrive. Time has to pass, and some might do so while sipping on an adult beverage.

Everything is good in moderation of course, and everyone might even have a drink or two on the day in question. But, what happens if there isn't enough alcohol for everyone? Can somebody run out to pick something up quick?

Will Liquor Stores In Texas Be Open On Thanksgiving Day?
Simply put, the answer is no. Per KHOU 11, liquor stores are closed on the holiday. as stated by the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission. Thanksgiving is one of the few days during the year when liquor stores aren't allowed to be open as well.
TABC also mandates that liquor stores have certain days where they aren't allowed to be open, mainly Sundays, Thanksgiving day, Christmas day, and New Year's day. So, if you need an adult beverage on a the holiday, make sure to plan ahead!
