Costco Stores RECALLS numerous Items In Texas Due To DEADLY Bacteria
According to FOX 7, the Texas Costco stores are facing some concerns due to a recall affecting several products over the past week and a half, as there are fears that these items may be contaminated with listeria.

WHAT IS LISTERIA AND IS THIS BACTERIA DEADLY TO TEXANS?
Listeria is a foodborne illness that poses serious risks, particularly for pregnant women, individuals over 65, and those with weakened immune systems, such as newborns and toddlers. This bacterium is most commonly associated with improperly processed deli meats and unpasteurized dairy products. While generally healthy individuals can also contract listeria infections, it can be especially dangerous for again, newborns and others with compromised immune systems.
WHAT IS ON RECALL IN THE COSTCO STORES IN TEXAS?
Listeria is particularly insidious because it can survive both refrigeration and freezing, prompting those at risk to avoid foods typically linked to listeria. The recalled products include red Southwestern grilled chicken, mini burritos, well-known Emergency protein buckets, El Monterey Mexican grill chicken and cheese taquitos, Rana chicken truffle carbonara tagliatelle, grilled white chicken, and Portobello mushroom sauce. Readywise's announcement stated that the recall was prompted by a potential Listeria contamination in the chicken supplied by one of their vendors. The Salt Lake City, Utah-based company advised customers against consuming the product and instead recommended returning it to Costco for a full refund. Residents of Texas are urged to take this issue seriously, as it could have significant consequences for the state.
