Per a post to social media, it all began when a little Copperas Cove resident wanted to take her favorite stuffed animal to daycare. But, it seems mom didn't want the cat to go to daycare, so an impasse was reached.

What was the mom to do? The little cat stuffed animal would have to stay home right? Until an agreement was reached that involved the Copperas Cove Police.

It seems like the cat did many things while helping on the day in question. It looks like the cat took calls with dispatch, and even looked out for us on patrol with a fellow officer. But the best part was probably the food the cat got, who doesn't love free donut holes?

So, all in all, it was a wonderful day for the cat. It might've even earned a job in the future too!
