Huge Growth Coming to Amarillo and Canyon’s Four Corners
The area between Amarillo and Canyon is slowly becoming its own little village. Housing developments and businesses are popping up all over.
The area is South Soncy Road, aka VFW Road, aka FM 2590. Once upon a time, this area was miles and miles of farmland, but within the last 10 years, neighborhoods have been constructed and countless businesses have opened along this stretch.
Growth Along South Soncy Road/FM 2590
The area around FM 2590 and FM 2219 has especially grown, where once a lone Pak-A-Sak stood. Now the area has a bank, a Toot'n Totum, an O'Reilly's, a nail shop, boutiques, and office space. Spare Feet offers storage as well as office space for various businesses, including a dry cleaner. The area also has three new restaurants and coffee shops, including The Corner Grill, Grandma's Burritos, Ziggi's Coffee, and Sticky Chikky.
