Who is the Most Wanted Fugitive in Texas?
Billy Joel Alfaro is a Hispanic male, 35 years old. He's 5'5" and weighs 180 pounds. Alfaro's identifying marks include tattoos on his chest, abdomen, right wrist, and both upper arms.
Why Texas DPS Is Searching for Billy Joel Alfaro
Alfaro was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and received two years' probation. In 2023, Alfaro was convicted on multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance and received five years of probation. Then, in August 2025, Alfaro allegedly shot a deputy in Fort Bend County. A warrant was issued for his arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. At the time of the incident, Alfaro was also wanted in Bexar County for assault and in Brazoria County for a probation violation.

Alfaro has ties to the San Antonio area and was last seen in Sugar Land, Texas. He is considered armed and dangerous.
