(Tyler, Texas) A nearly $50 million investment and new property will soon call downtown Tyler home.

For the past two years, downtown Tyler has experienced significant construction and growth, thanks in part to the new Smith County Courthouse being constructed on the eastern side of downtown.

Beginning this September, the entire downtown square and plaza area will be transformed into a beautiful park and green space, giving downtown Tyler an entirely new feel. The new location will feature improvements to traffic flow, sidewalks, lighting, landscaping, and public space.

As with any major project and redevelopment, there will be growing pains, but these growing pains also draw attention to downtown and attract new business.
