We all need a little more fresh air in our lives and what better way than a county-wide competition?

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension has designed a competition challenging people to get healthier and maybe even earn some bragging rights. Walk Across Texas is an 8-week walking challenge designed to encourage Texans to develop healthier habits.

If you've got that competitive spirit then this is the perfect! You can enter the challenge as an individual or you can team up with friends, family, or co-workers.

  • Join the Victoria County League
  • Form a team of up to eight people and work together toward the goal of virtually "walking across Texas."
  • Log your activity in the online challenge tracker which can include any type of movement, from walking to biking and beyond.

Participants can track progress, challenge themselves, and enjoy the benefits of staying active while having fun with their community. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offers ongoing support and programs to keep participants motivated year-round.
