2 More Stores Just Confirmed for Victoria’s Newest Retail Project
Victoria’s expanding, and now it’s Facebook official: Petco and Chicken Salad Chick are joining the mix.
After years of asking for more variety, Victoria shoppers are finally getting what they’ve been craving. The city’s newest shopping development has piqued our interest. You may have noticed the construction going on next to Kohls, and a few stores have been confirmed, but now, two new names are joining the list: Petco and Chicken Salad Chick.
A Facebook post this week confirmed what locals have been speculating for months: both stores are now part of the construction plans currently underway along Navarro.
The Project That’s Changing Navarro
The new retail center will roll out in two phases. Phase One includes four main retail spaces and is expected to wrap up by spring 2026. Phase Two kicks off in August and will bring even more restaurants and shopping options, with a projected finish around late 2026.
So far, confirmed stores include:
- Petco
- Chicken Salad Chick
- Ulta Beauty
- Five Below
- Burlington
And locals are already buzzing about what could come next.

Locals Have Thoughts (Of Course They Do)
As soon as the post hit Facebook, the comments lit up like a Black Friday line outside Target.
Some people are thrilled about more pet options, others just want a Trader Joe’s, but it’s the Chicken Salad Chick announcement that had everyone tagging friends.
What I really want to know is, how long will Five Below stay Five Below? Eventually, I can see this turning into a Dollar Tree store, or should I say $1.25 Store.
