A Texas mega church is being blasted online after a longtime church director was arrested for an unthinkable crime.
Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, is no stranger to scandals. Last year, the  megachurch founder Robert Morris was indicted on five counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child after shocking allegations began to swirl that he had sexual relations with a 12-year-old girl.
Now, the church is back in the headlines after one of its directors was accused of pretending to be an ICE agent in order to extort money from a businesswoman.

Longtime church employee arrested.

Gateway Community Church of Webster's safety director, 58-year-old Donald Doolittle, has been with the church for 10 years. Doolittle is in hot water after he allegedly received a massage in Houston, but when it came time to pay, there was an issue. Doolittle tried paying with a card, but was informed by the massage therapist that cash or Zelle was the only form of payment she could accept at the time.
Then, Doolittle did the most heartless thing and took out an ID card with “ICE” labeled on it and demanded to see the victim's ID. Police say she complied and showed her temporary visa, but Doolittle didn’t stop there. He then demanded that the woman pay him $500 or else he would take her away so she couldn’t see her children or family ever again.
The woman sent him a $500 Zelle payment. Doolittle sent her a text instructing her to delete their messages and claimed no one from ICE would reach out because he marked her case as non-prosecution.
The very next day, the woman ran into the police during a luncheon and told them what happened. When police contacted Doolittle about the situation, he denied ever getting a massage; however, he overlooked one great detail: surveillance video showed him at the exact business he denied ever setting foot in.
Doolittle was arrested for impersonating a public servant with a $10,000 bond set.
Gateway Community Church has not addressed the issue.
