
Victoria Lighted Christmas Parade Kicks Off Saturday Night
The Lighted Christmas Parade in Victoria takes place this Saturday night, Dec. 6. It's the perfect way to open up the Christmas season. Downtown Victoria will be lit up with festive floats, and hot chocolate will be available throughout the parade.

Not only is it the lighted Christmas Parade in Victoria, but it's also the official Christmas tree lighting ceremony, which will kick off the evening at 5:30 p.m. in DeLeon Plaza. The early weather forecast shows perfect weather for the parade. Highs in the mid-60s and lows in the mid-40s.
What is the parade route this year?
The parade will begin at the intersection of Main Street and Goodwin Avenue, then proceed down Main Street to Church Street, and finally continue back up Bridge Street to Goodwin Avenue.
The City of Victoria
This route will be closed to traffic on Dec. 6, along with the area bordered by North Street, Williams Street, Forrest Street, and Glass Street. Motorists should exercise caution and should not attempt to drive into barricaded areas.
If you can't make it out to the festivities on Saturday night, you can stream both the lighting ceremony and the parade by visiting the City of Victoria, Texas – Government website.
The City of Victoria will also ring in 2026.
