This past weekend I got to enjoy the three day Cattle Country Festival and you better believe I am still riding high from all the FUN!

The Cattle Country Music Festival in Gonzales Texas was incredible and you do NOT want to miss it next year!

This was my first time to EVER camp for a festival and Cattle Country Festival was the perfect, and I mean perfect place to start my festival camping. I am officially a festival girl! My nieces, Savannah, Madison and I decided to try "primitive camping" in our vehicles and it has to be one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Top 3 Things We Loved the Most about Cattle Country Festival 

Number 3 - The Vendors

Look if I am going to be at a music festival, you know I am going to be hungry and thirsty and I am especially going to be shopping. The vendors at Cattle Country were incredible. A great variety of all things food, drink and shopping.

Number 2- The Outfits

Okay I get it, if you're not into people watching you won't feel this like I do but I do love to see folks dressing up to pay homage to the music they love. Cattle Country fans did not disappoint and I had a great time meeting new characters every single day we were there.

Number 1- The FANS!

There is nothing more heart warming for a morning show DJ to see our fans singing along LIVE to the bands they love the most. I was so impressed with how many fans, young and old knew all the lyrics to Nickelback, Tanya Tucker and Ty Myers. The fans came out in the thousands and it was just awesome to see the joy on their faces when their favorites took the stage!
