On Thursday morning, Texas Tech linebacker Dakota Allen announced on Twitter that he has been invited to the 2019 NFL Combine.

In 2017, Allen led Texas Tech with 101 tackles to go along with two interceptions and two sacks. He had three games of at least 10 tackles, including a season-high 13 against Texas. Following the season, he was named a second-team All-Big 12 honoree by the Big 12 conference

In 2018, despite playing the final three games with a broken hand and a sprained knee, he recorded 61 tackles to bring his career total at Texas Tech to 249. He was named an All-Big 12 linebacker and left a fantastic legacy as a Texas Tech Red Raider.

The NFL combine will be held from February 26 – March 4th, 2019 and will be televised by the NFL Network.
