After big wins against the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Kansas State Wildcats to open Big 12 play, the Texas Tech men's basketball team has found themselves finally in the top 10 of the AP polls to begin the week.

The biggest change in the top 10 rankings this week was the Kansas Jayhawks dropping from #5 to #7  after their loss to Iowa State. Kansas still being ranked one spot higher than the Red Raiders is a tough one to swallow but it is wonderful knowing that Tech is currently the lead dog in the Big 12 Conference.

The next time the Red Raiders take the court, it will be at home when they take on the #23 Oklahoma Sooners on Tuesday, January 8th, at 8:00 p.m.
