After their big win at home against the #23 Oklahoma Sooners, the Texas Tech men's basketball team moved to 14-1 on the season and also improved to 3-0 in Big 12 Conference play.

One of the key components to the win was sophomore Jarrett Culver, as he finished with 23 points and 13 rebounds in the big home win. Culver was also put on the Midseason Top 25 Watch List for the Wooden Award.

Culver is putting up some of the best numbers in the nation with 19.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. The Wooden Award wasn't the only big award to have taken notice to Culver over the week.

The Lute Olson Award is presented annually to the nation's top Division I player in College Basketball.

Next up for Culver and the Red Raiders is the Texas Longhorns who are 10-5 and 2-1 in Big 12 Conference play. That game is on Saturday, January 12th, at 1:00 p.m. on the Longhorn Network.
