The Texas Tech men's basketball team continues to roll as they are a perfect 10-0 and #12 in the nation. Most of that can be attested to the coaching of Chris Beard and the play of a sophomore who has been lighting up scoring sheets.

After a fantastic week of play, Jarrett Culver has been recognized as the Big 12 Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning.

Culver averaged 22.5 points per game during the week, including a 30 point performance against Abilene Christian University in the final game at the Lubbock Municipal Coliseum. He was also deadly accurate from the floor, shooting 17-19 during the week and averaging 4.5 assists and 6.5 rebounds as well.

Culver also had this posterizing slam dunk during the ACU game.

Next up for Culver and the Red Raiders is their biggest non conference opponent of the season in the #2 Duke Blue Devils at Madison Square Garden. That game is scheduled for Thursday, December 20th, at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN2.
